Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Full Time in Muscatine, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will support a secure environment through routine vehicle and foot patrols, visible presence, access monitoring, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents and supporting patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $20.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
  • Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
