Gravel Pit Operator
Position Details
  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment to accomplish difficult or highly complex tasks
  • Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs
  • Maintains records of time worked and materials used
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Competitive wages based on experience
  • 40+ hours per week during spring, summer, and fall
  • Barnesville area pits

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Experience preferred with running screen plant, crusher plant and loader.
  • MSHA certified preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Class A license is preferred, however not required
  • Willingness to understand and accept safety standards
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form
  • Must maintain flexibility in the schedule during the busy season
  • Willingness to work hard and be reliable
