As a Security Guard - Full Time in Davenport, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
