Our affiliate, Unified Womens Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for a Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Raleigh, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team-based approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience individualized and meaningful.

About the Practice:

The clinical team consists of 9 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner. The practice has been serving women in the Raleigh Metro area for over 80 years. All deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at the University of North Carolina Rex Hospital in Raleigh (UNC Rex). UNC Rex is a top-notch facility that has a Level 4 NICU unit, womens health subspecialist physicians, and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized GYN surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an excellent group of physicians in a growing area and a great hospital system. Looking for a physician who wants to work several hospital call shifts per week and focus their career on Labor & Delivery.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic inpatient services.
  • Perform emergency gynecological surgical care as needed.
  • Hospital shifts will be at the University of North Carolina Rex Hospital in Raleigh. UNC Rex has a Level 4 NICU unit, womens health subspecialist physicians, and the Da Vinci robotic system for major surgical procedures.
  • Full-time position of 2-3 14-hour call shifts per week. 1 weekend of call per month.
  • Part-time options with some schedule flexibility.
  • Hospitalist can expect to perform about 20-25 deliveries per month.
  • Call is shared with another practice.
  • Competitive compensation and group malpractice coverage.
  • Full benefits package available for a full-time position.
  • $30K commencement and $30K retention bonus for full-time.
