Job description

Envirotek Systems is hiring for a general laborer/heavy equipment operator in Nixa, MO. No experience necessary. Experience with septic system installation, excavation, landscaping, plumbing, electrical or carpentry is a plus. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime. We also offer part-time positions. Salary offers are subject to experience and range between $18 - $35 per hour. We offer paid vacations.
Applicants for our general labor jobs should expect to work in areas of southwest Missouri including Branson, Hollister, Forsyth, Branson West, Reeds Spring, Galena, Cape Fair, Kimberling City, Lampe, Table Rock Lake, Shell Knob, Monett, Aurora, Republic, Nixa, Ozark and Springfield.
About our company:
Envirotek Systems is a septic system and wastewater service provider. We specialize in all services related to sewage including septic tanks, sewer & grinder pumps, lift stations, sewage treatment plants, septic inspections, excavation, water lines and drainage systems.
Position Type:
  • Full Time, Part Time.

Work Hours:
  • 40 - 50 hours per week.
  • 8 - 30 hours per week.

Salary:
  • $18.00 - $35.00 an hour.
Responsibilities:
  • Record elevations with laser level.
  • Watch for and uncover buried utilities.
  • Hands on ditch work including digging, laying pipe & assembling components.
  • Place gravel on grade in ditch.
  • Keep job site, trucks, equipment and operations center clean, maintained and organized.
  • Use power operated and hand operated soil and aggregate compaction equipment.

Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED.
Experience Requirements:
  • None required. Willing to train.
Experience In Lieu Of Education:
  • Experience is evaluated as a consideration in lieu of education.
Skill Requirements:
Already possess or willing to learn the following skills:
  • Watch for and uncover buried utilities.
  • Record and interpret elevations with laser level.
  • Ability to read tape measure, basic tape measure math.
  • Basic math abilities.
  • Place gravel on grade in ditch and other excavations.
  • Plumbing skills, underground lines in particular.
  • Read and write (required).
  • Ability to operate power and hand compaction equipment.
  • Landscaping skills, final grading and finishing.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 125 lbs.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, climb and move quickly.
  • Ability to grip tightly.
  • Possess good dexterity.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Valid MO driver's license with upstanding driving record.
  • Class A CDL (preferred, not required).
  • Must be able to provide documentation for legal authorization to work in U.S.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
