Position Overview

We are hiring Area Sales Representatives to drive regional adoption of the Geniant Cranial System across leading academic medical centers, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and high-volume neurosurgical programs. This role is responsible for strategic capital equipment sales, surgeon engagement, evaluation-to-conversion pipelines, and partnership with clinical specialists to ensure strong procedural pull-through.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to penetrate targeted neurosurgery programs.
  • Manage complex capital sales cycles with clinical and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Lead evaluation-to-purchase conversion strategies in OR environments.
  • Build relationships with Neurosurgeons, Department Chiefs, OR Directors, and Procurement.
  • Drive territory growth through structured account plannings and competitive displacement.
  • Lead GPO/IDN contracting strategies within territory aligned to national sales leadership.
  • Develop territory business plans and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline.
  • Represent Koh Young at regional and national conferences.
  • Champion competitive wins and grow recurring revenue streams from service and disposables.
  • Stays up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
  • Works closely with internal teams such as product specialists, engineers, and customer support to ensure seamless integration of equipment and address client needs.
  • Ability to manage personal expenses and budget effectively.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
  • OR-based selling experience and proven success in surgical capital systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in Neurosurgery with existing hospital contacts within the territory.
  • Established relationships in neurosurgery with proven track record of exceeding sales targets. 
  • Experience in surgical robotics, imaging, diagnostics, or other high-tech capital equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and customer interactions.
