Responsible for providing exceptional guest service to all resort guests. Responsibilities will be to provide customized massage and body treatments using the standards established by the State of Oregon and River Rock Spa. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide customized massage and body treatments unique to each guest's requests and needs.
  • Treatments will include but are not limited to: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal and chair massage techniques, body scrubs and body wraps. Quality of touch, flow, pressure and draping will remain safe, professional and therapeutic
  • Treatments rooms will be kept clean, safe and follow standards set forth by the State of Oregon and River Rock Spa
  • Therapist license will be displayed at all times when on site and scheduled for services.
  • Maintain a 20% retail sales level. This will be based from service levels
  • Remains current on all promotions and special events within the resort
  • Adheres to all department and resort policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook
  • Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.
  • Reports all guest's requests, concerns, complaints, and suggestions quickly, efficiently and courteously in a continuous effort to provide exceptional guest service
  • Provide spa guests with a comfortable and relaxing experience while ensuring the utmost safety for the guest
  • Upholds the resorts commitment to unforgettable guest service

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current Massage license from the State of Oregon.
  • Graduate of state approved massage program.
  • Must maintain CEU as required by the state of Oregon.
  • Able to perform Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pre Natal and Hot Stone massage.
  • Detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and guest relations skills.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Understand and adhere to safety policies and sanitization standards required by State of Oregon and River Rock Spa.
  • Knowledge of current Massage techniques and services, physiology, and health issues and contraindications for massage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Current and valid OLCC required.
  • Experience performing massages in a professional environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
