Job description

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a full-time Geriatric Psychiatrist to join an inpatient Behavioral Health unit in Milwaukie, Oregon. The Ideal candidate will have inpatient psychiatry experience and an interest/training in geriatric psychiatry. Be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team in a thriving community just south of Portland.
  • Full-time position (workweek)
  • Call is approximately 1:4 weekends
  • Overnight/phone call is 1 night per workweek
  • Candidate will work in rotation with the inpatient geriatric population, both on the unit and consult-liaison as needed around the hospital. Work is conducted in the context of a treatment team collaborating with nurses, social workers, therapists, other physicians
