The Position Specifics
The Host is where each guest experience starts and ends. The door or "Porta" is the most important part of the restaurant. First and last impressions matter and have a lasting impact on guest experience. The responsibilities of this position include:
  • Welcome each guest upon arrival and thank them for joining Over Easy when they leave.
  • Seat each guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist iPad system.
  • If on a wait keep, remember it is our job to Spark Brighter Days.
  • Answer phones, be able to answer guest questions or get them to the person that can best take care of that guest needs.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to Server as needed.
  • Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables.
