  • Design and support upgrades that improve equipment performance, reliability, and longevity.
  • Prepare AFEs and ensure accurate execution of designs.
  • Act as a liaison between field operations and Houston-based engineering teams.
  • Deliver daily technical advice to field teams, resolving priority issues quickly.
  • Mentor field operators and technicians, enhancing their understanding of facility equipment and processes.
  • Lead and coordinate Root Cause Failure Analysis, Process Hazard Analysis, risk assessments, and HSE investigations.
  • Oversee H2S treatment processes and chemical programs, validating efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support MOC (Management of Change) processes to ensure alignment and compliance across teams.
  • Develop field procedures that drive consistency and best practices in operations and maintenance.
  • Conduct equipment testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to validate system performance.
  • Ensure equipment and process data is accurately captured in the CMMS for effective long-term asset management.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce Lease Operating Expense (LOE) through design, process optimization, and field execution.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of direct facilities engineering experience in oil field operations.
  • Strong knowledge of production and SWD facilities, gathering systems, oil/gas/water processing equipment, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with oil field measurement systems, metering devices, and well test-based allocation systems.
  • Hands-on experience with H2S processing systems, vessel repair, and equipment integrity programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical investigations, provide training, and mentor field staff.
  • Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented, self-starter mindset.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. + valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications
