We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Manager. This is a full-time position. Primary duties for this position will be overseeing the dining room and customer experience. Candidates need to be friendly, hardworking, team players, and flexible.

Pay rate:


$24-$28 per hour plus overtime. Eligible for quarterly bonuses based on performance.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities of FOH staff to provide professional services.
  • Manages the FOH staff including interviewing, hiring, directing work, addressing concerns, and holding staff accountable.
  • Responsible for ongoing training, and professional development of staff members
  • Communicates effectively with kitchen management to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Inspects dining room service stations for neatness/cleanliness.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of FOH by maintaining to specified standards.
  • Ensures all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Prepares all required paperwork, reports, and work schedules in a timely manner.
  • Maintains an extensive floor presence to support the FOH and BOH staff.
  • Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards are met and operations run efficiently.
  • Performs any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years related experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers as well as all levels of employees in both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to work a 50-hour work week.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment; manage time effectively and work well in a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations, sales, & communication skills.
  • Must have, at all times during employment, a valid Washington State Health Card and any other government required cards.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and a passion for progress in this career.
