Are full time fire watch jobs still a thing?

Full-time fire watch jobs are available in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and facilities management, especially where hot work or flammable materials are involved. These roles typically require safety training, fire watch certifications, and adherence to local fire codes, and they can be scheduled for full-time or temporary periods depending on project needs.

How hard is it to get a job as a full time fire watch?

Securing a full-time fire watch position typically requires relevant safety training, certifications such as fire watch or fire safety training, and sometimes prior experience in safety or construction environments. Job availability can vary based on industry demand and location, but the role generally involves adherence to safety protocols and working in environments with fire hazards. Competition may be moderate, and employers often prioritize candidates with proper certification and safety knowledge.
