State Fire is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team in Elko, NV. What You'll Do
  • Install, inspect, service, and maintain a variety of fire alarm systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems as needed, including emergency or warranty calls.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA and local standards.
  • Coordinate work efficiently with project managers, property managers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all job site safety and compliance protocols.

Requirements

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in fire alarm or low-voltage systems preferred.
  • NICET Level I or higher certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency with standard and trade-specific tools and testing equipment.
Physical Requirements
