Senior Fire Protection Engineer


Salary: $ 147,000.00 | Full-Time | Dallas, TX

We have partnered with a large engineering services company in the Dallas, TX area to provide them with a Senior Fire Protection Engineer.   Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Fire Protection Engineer:

#1.  10+ years of Fire Protection engineering experience

#2. Active Fire Protection Engineering License

#3. Experience designing fire suppression, detection, alarm, and mass notification systems

#4. Strong knowledge of building and fire codes, including NFPA standards

#5. Proven project management and client consulting experience

Responsibilities of the Senior Fire Protection Engineer:

The client is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with ten or more years of experience in consulting engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm. The right candidate will have work history that includes performing consulting services for external and internal clients utilizing fire protection engineering technical skills.

Requirements of the Senior Fire Protection Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering from accredited college or university
  • Fire Protection Engineering License by examination issued by any state in the United States
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in the Fire Protection profession
  • Travel is required (estimated travel percentage 20%)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including oral presentation skills
  • Ability to work on a high functioning team
