Industrial Electrician - Macon, IL
This is a full-time, non-exempt position
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This position is focused on industrial environments such as plants, facilities, and heavy equipment sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently in demanding industrial settings.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform conduit running (EMT, rigid, and PVC) in industrial environments
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, machinery, motors, and control circuits
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line drawings
  • Install and terminate panels, disconnects, MCCs, motors, and industrial lighting
  • Work safely around live equipment, machinery, and production areas
  • Follow all site-specific safety procedures and company policies
  • Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other trades
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrical experience
  • Proven ability with conduit running and electrical troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Preferred (Not Required):
  • Experience with motors, VFDs, PLCs, or control panels
  • Plant maintenance or heavy industrial construction experience
