You?ll coordinate and optimize production and delivery schedules, create accurate feed projections, and manage field inventory to prevent shortages or overages. Partnering closely with internal teams and growers, you?ll maximize delivery efficiency, ensure on time, accurate shipments, and continuously improve logistics processes. This role is ideal for a proactive, communication driven leader who thrives on solving operational challenges in a fast paced environment.Principal Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accurate feed projections to support efficient milling and delivery operations.Plan and optimize delivery schedules to maximize efficiency, including full loads, minimizing split loads, and reducing miles per trip.Monitor and manage field inventory levels to prevent feed outages ( feed outs ) and ensure bins remain adequately stocked.Communicate effectively with drivers, mill operators, supervisors, and growers to prioritize deliveries based on operational needs.Investigate delivery discrepancies and errors, identify root causes, recommending improvement opportunities to leadership and implement corrective actions.Partner with reporting, analytics, and identifying process improvement opportunities.Manage dispatch operations as needed to ensure timely delivery.Track and support key performance indicators (KPIs) such as tons per load, miles per trip, number of splits, and loads per driver.Supervise Feed Mill Dispatchers managing Hours of Service, driver efficiency / optimization and performance management.Minimum Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Strong reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Education and ExperiencePost-secondary education in clerical science, business, logistics, or a related field.Prior experience in logistics, scheduling, or feed mill operations.Experience with industry software (e.g., M-Tech, Beta-Raven or similar systems).Physical Requirements and Environmental FactorsMay need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.May need to access files, supplies and equipment.Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.#LI-KD1 Perdue Farms Inc.
