The Brand Amp is an integrated marketing communications agency offering Public Relations, Social Media, Paid Digital Advertising, Video Production, Graphic Design, Influencer Marketing, Brand Narrative Development, and Event Marketing. We serve clients across a multitude of industries, including DIRECTV, Polaris, Traeger, MasterCraft, Archer Aviation, Mitsubishi Motors, SUPER73, and many others.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A media relations professional with 1 - 3 years' experience and a passion for generating earned media coverage across a wide breadth of traditional national and regional media across general news and a wide range of lifestyle categories. In addition, with the media landscape expanding into non-traditional realms, including social media pundits and "creators," this area of emphasis becomes important as well.

We currently have needs with clients in the automotive & powersports (motorcycle, off-roading, etc.) categories, as well as clients operating in the lifestyle and tech categories. Candidates must exhibit solid written and verbal communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team across multiple accounts.

Candidates must be based in either Orange County (CA), Chicago, or Atlanta and be willing to work a hybrid-in-office schedule. 

WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?

• A fearless & relentless drive to produce earned media coverage or secure meaningful feedback
• The ability to adapt your story to each reporter and outlet through proper research
• The integrity to actually put in the work necessary to be successful
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Ability to leverage digital and social platforms to identify relevant media opportunities, track journalist activity, and learn about timely insights that support proactive media outreach
• Willingness to lean into collaboration and communication within a team environment
• Ability to work across multiple clients and industries
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet multiple clients' needs simultaneously
• Curiosity to follow industry trends and the creativity to apply them to your clients' brands
• Ability to utilize AI based LLMs such as Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.
• May require some travel
