Job description

Gen II is looking for a full-time FATCA/CRS Staff to join our growing team of professionals .This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a career in international tax compliance within the private equity fund services industry. The staff will support the FATCA/CRS team in all aspects of FATCA and CRS reporting and will develop hands-on expertise across the full reporting lifecycle. This position will report to a Manager or Supervisor, and ultimately to the Director overseeing our global FATCA/CRS business.
This position carries out the responsibilities in the following functional areas:
  • Learning and applying FATCA and CRS reporting frameworks, including the OECD Common Reporting Standard and applicable local regulations administered by the ACD (Luxembourg) and HMRC (United Kingdom) and the US Treasury (United States)
  • Assisting with the operation and maintenance of efficient workflows for ingesting investor onboarding and classification data
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of annual CRS and FATCA foreign filings for international entities
  • Participating in form validation reviews, including reviewing exception reports and escalating findings to senior team members with recommended corrective actions
  • Assisting with the maintenance of withholding documentation, including W-8 series forms and W-8IMY withholding statements
  • Contributing to the development and upkeep of the team's withholding matrix database under the guidance of senior professionals
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Tax professionals, accounting, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate investor classification and timely reporting

Qualified candidates will possess the following experience and qualities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Genuine interest in international tax, financial services, or fund administration

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
Work Arrangement
