  • Following standardized recipes, food-safety requirements, and CACFP guidelines

  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen
  • Washing dishes and completing daily kitchen cleaning
  • Monitoring food quality and proper food storage
  • Keeping track of food and kitchen supplies
  • Grocery shopping and communicating supply needs
  • Helping maintain the kitchen budget
  • Driving an A to Z Building Blocks bus when needed

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can work at a steady pace, stay organized, follow recipes, manage their time, and get food prepared and served on schedule.
Position Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Previous cooking or kitchen experience
  • Comfortable preparing food for groups
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily kitchen responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to complete A to Z Building Blocks bus-driver training and drive company buses when needed
  • Food Handler Permit or willingness to obtain one before starting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass all required background checks

Your Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with consistent daytime hours.
No nights. No weekends.
