Data Acquisition Specialist Expectations
ROLE OVERVIEW
Alamo Airborne Part 107 Data Acquisition Specialists operate drones in support of telecom, infrastructure, and enterprise clients nationwide.
Missions focus on automated flight operations, data collection, and compliance with FAA regulations.
Specialists are expected to maintain professionalism, safety, and accuracy at all times.
WORK SCOPE
Operate drones for data capture (imagery, telecom tower scans, infrastructure inspection).
Collect data with other sensors to deliver a complete picture to clients and customers.
Ensure FAA Part 107 compliance, site safety, and accurate reporting.
Maintain equipment readiness and complete post-mission data uploads.
TRAVEL & LODGING
Deployments are nationwide and often extend for multiple weeks.
Specialists must have a reliable, road-worthy vehicle (AWD preferred).
Travel expenses covered by Alamo Airborne.
Fuel reimbursed via payroll with receipts.
Lodging may be pre-arranged or reimbursed via payroll with receipts.
PAY PLAN
Performance-based compensation model (W-2, IRS compliant).
Training pay during initial onboarding.
Standard project rates vary by deliverable type and complexity.
Top specialists earn $100,000+ annually.
Pay is processed via payroll, including reimbursement for approved expenses.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
FAA Part 107 Certificate (mandatory).
TWIC card (optional).
DD-214 (optional, for veteran preference).
Participation in Alamo Airborne s internal micro-credentialing program for specialized missions.
Professional communication and timely reporting.
