We seek a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician to support our fast growing pharmacy. The team will continue to add headcount over the next year. You will will be supporting all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours: The shift for this role will be Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm EST 

Location: 68 Cumberland St., Suite 102, Woonsocket, RI 02895

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with large machines to fill scripts
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Rhode Island 
  • 1 years of Pharmacy Technician experience 
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work for entire shift 
  • Access to reliable transportation 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 2 years of Pharmacy Technician

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
