    Job Description

    Air Export Customer Service Agent

    Scope of Position

    External Communication to Customers, Providers, Agents and EI Network, Reporting. Coordination and Collaboration with OPS for Timely Process Flow.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to below)

    • Utilize AEX Workboard for Reporting and Monitoring
    • Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards
    • Coordinate all service provider requests or escalations and communicate requirements to OPS team.
    • Adhere to strict compliance standards and requirements pertaining to both internal and external regulations in accordance with controls
    • Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and are in place and updated as applicable.
    • Handle all overseas communications in regard to Customer Service specific requests or coordinate with OPS team for support.
    • Manage all Customer Reports and ensure they are sent out on required cadence
    • Supporting customers with inquiries regarding compliance, documentation and export regulations and provide resources to them if required
    • Understand and provide general pricing per requests to customers.
    Qualifications

    Air Export Customer Service preferred qualifications:

    • 6 months to 1 year of Expeditors Operational Experience 
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Demonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills.
    • IATA/FIATA
    • LATAM Certification
    • Hazardous Materials Certification
