Veterinary Assistant, Emergency
Location:
Waukesha, WI
Schedule: Full Time | 3rd Shift | Four 9 or 10 Hour Shifts Per Week | Includes Every Other Weekend and Some Holidays
Compensation: $16/hr +, Dependent On Experience | Applicable Shift Differentials
  • + $3/hr during the hours of 4pm-midnight
  • +$5/hr during the hours of midnight to 8am

In your day-to-day, you will:
  • Safely restrain patients for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain clean, sanitized patient care areas, including kennels, treatment spaces, and hospital floors.
  • Keep treatment areas fully stocked and organized to support efficient patient care.
  • Assist with daily laundry to ensure clean linens and supplies are readily available.
  • Walk and exercise hospitalized patients while monitoring their comfort and well-being.
  • Prepare and provide meals for hospitalized patients according to their care plans.
  • Support the medical team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail while effectively prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
