Maridan South Spine and Sports Medicine is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Irvine, California. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in helping patients recover their mobility and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. Located in sunny Irvine, CA, Maridan South Spine and Sports Medicine specializes in orthopedic outpatient care, focusing primarily on patients with private medical insurance. Our state-of-the-art facility, spanning 5,000 square feet, is equipped with advanced treatment tools and technology, allowing our clinical team to provide the highest level of care. Our small yet dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering collaboration and the exchange of expertise.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in an outpatient office designed to facilitate a comfortable yet dynamic treatment atmosphere. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a patient volume of one per hour to ensure quality care and attention.
  • Employ a diverse range of evidence-based treatment techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
  • Document detailed notes regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Monitor and adjust therapeutic strategies based on patient feedback and progress metrics.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment pathways.
  • Deliver patient education aimed at encouraging self-management and promoting healthy lifestyle adjustments.
  • Develop fitness and wellness programs that align with each patientโ€™s recovery goals, including strength training, flexibility, and coordination exercises.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters primarily to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with a diverse clientele, each with unique rehabilitation needs, ensuring that you contribute positively to their recovery journeys. Through personalized care, you will help patients achieve functional movement and independent living, significantly impacting their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Strong foundation in orthopedic assessments and physical therapy modalities.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
