Job description

Invisible Narratives is looking for a full-time Social Video Editor. You live on YouTube, TikTok, and Reels, and you know how to cut content that performs there. You understand hooks, pacing, and retention the way the best creators do, because that's where you came from.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Edit short-form videos for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels from raw footage to final delivery.
  • Cut for retention — strong opens, tight pacing, and edits made to hold attention on a phone.
  • Build rhythm and energy through timing, music, sound, and captions.
  • Work directly with creative leadership to take direction and raw material to a finished edit.
  • Add motion graphics, text, and effects that read fast and feel native to each platform.
  • Deliver platform-ready exports optimized for YouTube, TikTok, and Reels.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • An editor who lives and breathes short-form social content.
  • Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience editing short-form for YouTube, TikTok, or Reels.
  • A natural sense of pacing, tone, and rhythm.
  • Ability to work fast, take feedback, and deliver at high volume.
  • Passion for gaming, sci-fi, animation, and internet culture.
