Job description

Evansville Surgical Associates, the premier surgical specialty group in Southwest Indiana, is actively seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to join their well-established and growing practice in Evansville, IN. Currently, our vascular division includes five board-certified vascular surgeons, all performing a full spectrum of open and endovascular procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in vascular surgery.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship.
  • Proficiency in both open and endovascular techniques.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional growth.
  • Midwestern ties or interest in the region preferred.
  • Dedicated outpatient clinic time of three half-days/week.
  • Call coverage is 1:6.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a guaranteed salary of $600,000 for up to two years and a $50,000 sign-on bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Evansville Surgical Associates (ESA) was founded in 1969. Since that time, the practice continues to grow with over 20 surgeons, with nine locations, making it the largest general surgery practice in the Tri-State area. Vascular Surgical Associates, our vascular affiliate, is also the largest vascular practice in the region. ESA surgeons are all certified by the American Board of Surgery, and a number of surgeons also have subspecialty training and certification in Vascular Surgery, Trauma/Critical Care, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.

Evansville Surgical Associates provides expertise in general surgery, colon and rectal surgery, peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery, breast surgery, thoracic surgery, endocrine surgery, complex abdominal wall hernia surgery, bariatric (Obesity) surgery, and oncologic (cancer) surgery, utilizing advanced laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, and endovascular techniques to carry out many of these procedures. Evansville Surgical Associates maintains an endoscopy service, providing diagnostic and surveillance colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

ESA surgeons also direct and staff the two Level II Trauma Centers at Deaconess Midtown Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent, providing care for over 3,000 trauma patients a year.
