Job description

Element is a world renown Aerospace Testing Company, delivering certainty to clients such as Boeing, SpaceX and Blue Origin. We are seeking a skilled EMI Test Technician / Associate EMI Test Engineer to join our dynamic aerospace team. The primary function of this position is performing EMI testing, documenting EMI test results, completing test datasheets for assigned EMI test programs, and logging EMI test activities.

Salary: $27.50-$33/hr


  • Conduct EMI/EMC testing on aerospace electronic components and systems in compliance with industry standards
  • Set up and operate test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and EMI receivers.
  • Perform shielding effectiveness, conducted emissions, radiated emissions, and susceptibility tests.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of EMI test standards, EMI test procedures, and EMI test instrumentation
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and prepare detailed test reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve EMI-related issues.
  • Interact with customers during the testing process, periodically assist with troubleshooting and development modifications

The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge.  We are looking for someone with the following training and/or experience:

- Military electronics (Radar, Radio, Navigation, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in physics, EE, or related field
- Two-year electronics technical degree and relevant work experience
- Familiarity with standard electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
