Requirements
To be successful in this role, you MUST:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install electrical elements
  • Display excellent customer service; assist customers in evaluating repairs versus replacement options
  • Sustain proper supply, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the truck
  • Travel to job sites within the service area, and maintain your parts, as well as communication with dispatchers, your manager, and installation teams to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly conveyed to the customer
  • Properly complete invoices and obtain customer authorization/signatures for the financial decision at the beginning and end of the job
  • Have and maintain a good driving and background record
  • Pass drug screenings
  • Be knowledgeable of, or have the willingness to learn to operate, an iPad
  • Be willing to work overtime if the situation arises
  • Have occasional Saturday availability
  • Meet sales goals
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education
  • Be knowledgeable, and continue to develop your awareness, of electrical codes with the ability to apply them in a pragmatic manner on each job
  • Work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to make sure work is being performed correctly and within code requirements
  • Live within 35 miles of our Kennesaw, GA location
