Electrician Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Electrician Apprentice to join our team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to start a career in the electrical trade. No prior experience is necessaryโ€”we will provide on-the-job training. The Apprentice will assist with commercial electrical and low voltage installations and repairs, gaining hands-on experience while working under the supervision of licensed electricians.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians with commercial electrical and low voltage installation and service tasks
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to required lengths and angles
  • Pull wire or cable through conduits and ducts
  • Use digital multimeters to measure voltage, amperage, and continuity
  • Help install and connect switches, outlets, and receptacles
  • Organize tools and materials, and maintain a clean job site
  • Follow all job-site safety rules and procedures
  • Learn and apply basic electrical principles and code requirements
  • Take direction and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications:

  • No prior electrical experience required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Work in tight spaces, on ladders, and in outdoor conditions
  • Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
