About the Employer
The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county's 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.
Job Summary
The purpose of the CTE Construction Technology Instructor is to provide instruction and training in construction/cabinetmaking occupations that will prepare the student for entry-level employment in the construction industry. Students will learn skills, knowledge, and abilities commensurate to the goals of the program while effectively using materials and equipment utilized in the construction/cabinetmaking trade.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Credential Copy (Possession of, or ability to obtain prior to employment, a valid California Designated Subjects Vocational or Career Technical Education Teaching Credential for the subject to be taught (Refer to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing pamphlet for Designated Subjects Vocational Teaching Credentials))
  • Letter of Introduction (Letter must be specific to the position for which you are applying)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be signed by the author. The signature block must include the author's name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date. Letters without author's signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred.)
