Main Street Housing, Inc is a non-profit organization that creates and manages quality, affordable and independent rental housing for individual and families living with psychiatric disabilities. The ideal applicant for this job will have:
Working knowledge, skills, and tools for drywall repair, light construction, interior and exterior painting, with ability to be certified for Lead Paint Maintenance & Repainting.
Working knowledge, skills, and tools to fix common plumbing, electric, with ability to coordinate with other vendors and technicians as needed.
Ability to perform manual labor under a variety of conditions, to maintain safety for self and others.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule with frequent travel, and to be on call as needed. Location range of properties in the Baltimore metro area and surrounding counties.
1+ years handyman/maintenance experience and HS Diploma or GED
Own vehicle with insurance, and able to pass a background check
Positive attitude with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Personally uses or has used mental health services at some point in their life.
