We are currently seeking full-time Driver to join our Millerton, NY team. This position features local daytime deliveries with the benefit of being home every night.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule - Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Every other Saturday

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, testing requirements, and training programs.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and make scheduled local deliveries.
  • Prepare and maintain delivery paperwork, invoices, and load receipts.
  • Complete and maintain driver logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Load and unload building materials and customer orders.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, including tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and cargo securement equipment.
  • Complete and submit required maintenance and inspection reports.
  • Secure loads using proper tie-downs, ropes, blocks, and other safety equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in resolving delivery-related concerns.
  • Immediately report accidents, near misses, traffic violations, or traffic stops to management.
  • Assist with deliveries out of the Hillsdale, NY location, yard and warehouse operations when driving assignments are not scheduled.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to comply with all DOT laws and regulations.
  • One year of delivery driving experience preferred, but not required.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to successfully complete forklift training and demonstrate ongoing safe operation.
Experience
  • No prior experience required.
  • Training opportunities available for motivated candidates.
Physical Requirements
To successfully perform this role, employees must be able to:
  • Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Operate vehicles, machinery, and equipment requiring manual dexterity.
  • Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
