CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver - Up to 29% Revenue - Newer Equipment - Weekly Pay

Truck Driver Nation

Joliet, IL โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Job description

CDL-A FLATBED TRUCK DRIVER

Put Your Open-Deck Experience to Work.

If you know flatbed, you already know this isn't ordinary truckload freight. Securement matters. Trip planning matters. Equipment matters. And the money needs to make the extra work worthwhile.

Truck Driver Nation is accepting applications from experienced CDL-A drivers for current OTR flatbed and open-deck opportunities.

EARNING OPPORTUNITY

Up to 27-29% on qualifying flatbed and Conestoga positions

Weekly pay

Direct deposit

Strong mileage availability on select openings

Percentage-based compensation designed around available freight

Exact compensation depends on the specific position, freight, qualifications, and operating conditions. Earnings and freight volume are not guaranteed.

EQUIPMENT & FREIGHT

Current qualifying opportunities may include:

Flatbed freight

Conestoga freight

Open-deck operations

2022-2026 Freightliners and Volvos on select positions

OTR freight throughout approved operating areas

Travel assistance available on select openings

We are particularly interested in drivers who understand open-deck freight, load securement, trip planning, and the additional responsibility that comes with hauling flatbed freight.

RUN OTR WITHOUT BEING FORCED EVERYWHERE

Select current openings operate throughout the lower 48 while allowing drivers to avoid West Coast and New York freight.

Available lanes and operating areas depend on the specific position and current freight.

HOME TIME

Select current schedules operate approximately three weeks out followed by one week home.

Home-time requirements will be discussed before moving forward with a specific opportunity.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Valid Class A CDL

Current medical card

Approximately 2+ years CDL-A experience for qualifying positions

Good driving record

Professional and dependable communication

Ability to meet DOT and applicable motor-carrier requirements

OTR availability

Flatbed, Conestoga, Step Deck, or other open-deck experience is strongly preferred

SAP eligibility varies by position. Some current flatbed opportunities do not accept SAP drivers.

WHY THIS POSITION IS DIFFERENT

Flatbed drivers earn their money.

You're dealing with freight that requires more attention, more planning, and more responsibility than simply closing the trailer doors.

We're looking for drivers who understand that work and want an available position that better matches their experience, earning goals, equipment preferences, and home-time needs.

APPLY

Submit your application through this posting. Your CDL experience, open-deck experience, driving record, location, freight preferences, and home-time requirements will be reviewed for applicable current driving opportunities.

SMS COMMUNICATION DISCLOSURE

Applicants may choose to receive SMS/text messages from Truck Driver Nation regarding their application, application status, scheduling, and applicable driving opportunities. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of applying or being considered for a position.
