Job Title: Drilling Services Operator

Department: Drilling

Reports to: Drilling Superintendent

Location: Florence AZ

Overview:

Reporting to the Drilling Superintendent, the Drilling Services Operator will complete services associated in support of drilling operations and assist with various activities as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Move supplies and operate equipment in support of ongoing drilling operations.
  • Support drilling operations while maintaining a safe work environment and follow all standards, policies and procedures, including OSHA standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs and troubleshoot on drill services equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize mobile equipment including a water truck, vacuum truck, telehandler, and other commercial vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate activities with other team members effectively.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in rig operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in heavy equipment operations including water trucks, vac trucks and telehandlers.
  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting repairs.

Work Environment:

  • Lifting and carrying large (50+ lbs) tools and equipment independently.
  • Working in various weather conditions for long periods of time.
  • Must work in compliance with the Florence Copper's site Health and Safety program.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, CDL is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and background check
