Job description

Description of the Role:
The Special Education Tutor for Down syndrome support is responsible for providing specialized academic support to students with Down syndrome. They will work closely with individuals to develop personalized learning plans, assess their progress, and provide necessary accommodations and modifications to the curriculum. The tutor will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering the social and emotional development of students.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students with Down syndrome
- Develop personalized learning plans based on individual needs and goals
