Salary: $18-$20/hour
Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring a display builder/cabinet maker in Miamisburg, OH from $18.00-$20.00/hour or up depending on experience from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday F/T.
Cabinet maker qualifications:
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reviewing, interpreting, and working from technical drawings, blueprints, or, in some cases, CAD drawings.
  • Fabrication & Assembly: Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, veneer, or synthetic components using power saws, jointers, mortisers, and other tools
  • Quality Control: Inspecting completed products to ensure accuracy, proper fit, and high-quality construction
  • Finishing: Sanding, staining, painting, or applying laminates, veneers, and varnishes to protect and enhance the wood
  • Installation: Installing cabinet hardware (hinges, handles, drawer pulls) and performing on-site installation.
  • Material Selection: Selecting appropriate materials, such as lumber or plywood, for each project

Responsibilities:
• Building displays, fixtures, and cabinets to required specifications from detailed drawings or blueprints.
• Creating cut lists, verifying materials, and giving directions to other employees to meet targets of quality, schedule, and cost which are within your control.
• Use measuring devices.
• Read blueprints.
