The Graphic Designer develops creative design concepts and visual content to support the City's communication, marketing, and special event initiatives. This includes-though is not limited to-design for the City magazine, electronic newsletters, flyers, posters, collateral materials, videos, the website, and social media channels. The role helps ensure brand consistency and strengthens the overall effectiveness of the City's communication efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Develop highquality graphic elements for both print and digital communication and marketing materials.
  • Support the design and production of marketing campaigns-including social media content, targeted emails, online advertising, special event promotions, and other City communication initiatives.
  • Create shareable digital content such as photographs, social media graphics, short videos, blog visuals, and other multimedia assets.
  • Assist the Communications and Marketing team with the execution of new projects and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Coordinate with team members to produce strategic digital content that reflects industry best practices and aligns with City branding and communication goals.

  • Excellent graphic design skills with proven professional experience.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
