To learn more about our exciting organization, please visit us at www.unissant.com.We are seeking a Senior Palantir Foundry Developer (Lead) to join our team and support our client.The ideal candidate is a senior Foundry practitioner and founding technical leader capable of standing up the practice's build capability, mentoring junior staff, and owning delivery on day one. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Washington, DC/Herndon, VA, requiring onsite work two to three days per week.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as technical lead for Foundry application and ontology development across client engagements.Design and build complex ontology models, Actions, Functions, and Workshop applications from the ground up.Own solution architecture decisions in coordination with client stakeholders and Unissant leadership.Mentor and upskill junior developers as the practice scales.Serve as a primary technical point of contact in client meetings and proposal support activities.Establish reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices for the practice.Work Experience and Job Skills:Five (5) or more years of software or data engineering experience, including three (3) or more years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience in a lead or senior capacity.Demonstrated experience owning Foundry solutions end-to-end, ideally in a federal or highly regulated environment.Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript.Experience translating ambiguous client requirements into scalable technical architecture.Prior experience supporting DHS, CBP, or other federal law enforcement/homeland security clients preferred.Experience standing up or scaling a Palantir practice within a consulting or systems integrator environment preferred.Familiarity with AIP preferred.Education:Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field of study.MBA/Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:Palantir Foundry Developer certification preferred.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization.Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.Clearance Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance is required.Travel:Minimal travel may be required.Environmental Requirements:Mainly a routine office environment.May be required to lift up to ten (10) poundsFlexible in working extended hoursThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
