Senior Software DevOps Engineer - Gainesville, FL

Join our Disease Management Systems (DMS) team as a Software DevOps Engineer, where you will play a critical role in supporting the infrastructure, automation, and development environments that enable reliable software delivery and innovation across the organization.

Your role:

  • Configure, support, and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and system connectivity for development and testing environments.

  • Provision and manage build, test, and deployment environments while developing automation that improves efficiency, consistency, and software delivery quality.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, source control workflows, and automated build and deployment processes.

  • Monitor system health, collect and analyze infrastructure and pipeline metrics, and implement telemetry solutions to improve performance, reliability, and visibility.

  • Partner closely with software engineers, quality teams, information technology stakeholders, and DevOps colleagues to troubleshoot issues, support releases, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Serve as a key onsite DevOps resource in Gainesville, providing hands-on support for infrastructure, hardware integration, and environment-related priorities that are critical to the success of the DMS organization.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 5+ years experience in system administration, infrastructure support, software engineering, networking, cybersecurity, hardware systems, or related technical disciplines.

Bonus skills include Infrastructure as Code, test automation, virtualization technologies, Windows Server and Linux administration, and hardware/system validation.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, 9+ years of relevant experience may be considered.

  • Relevant certifications in system administration, networking, cloud platforms, or security are a plus, but not required.

  • You're a collaborative problem solver with strong analytical and communication skills who enjoys working across technical disciplines and supporting both software and infrastructure-focused initiatives.

  • You are comfortable working onsite in Gainesville and thrive in environments that combine software delivery, infrastructure management, and hands-on technical support.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is an office role.
