Support the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a clean, safe environment
Take and process dental X-rays and perform basic medical imaging
Sterilize instruments and follow strict infection control protocols
Greet and prepare patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures
Provide excellent customer service and patient education
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
Use Dentrix and Dexis dental software (training provided if needed)
Perform expanded functions (EFDA a plus!) as permitted by Oregon law
Assist with inventory, supply orders, and lab case management
Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive office culture

Salary Range

Full-time $27 - $32 per hour

Shift & Schedule

7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday (flexible, no weekends!)

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Dentrix
  • Dexis
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Dental Assistant experience preferred (minimum 1 year; new grads encouraged to apply)
X-ray certification (required)
CPR and AED certification (required)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control
Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis software helpful (training provided)
Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to multitask in a busy practice
Strong attention to detail and desire to provide exceptional patient care
