Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to start or advance your career as a Dental Assistant? Sidney Smiles is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering outstanding patient care. This role offers hands-on experience assisting with procedures, managing equipment and supplies, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Prepare, sterilize, and sanitize dental instruments and equipment before and after each use to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Take dental X-rays under the supervision of the dentist and help interpret results as needed.
Monitor and manage dental supply inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring availability of necessary materials.
Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide instructions for post-procedure care.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills by interacting professionally with patients and team members.

Salary Range

Full-time $20 - $25 per hour

Monday: 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certification or training in Dental Assisting required.
Current X-ray Certification and CPR Certification are required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferences
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred.
Previous dental assisting experience is a plus but not mandatoryโ€”entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
