Are you passionate about solving complex electrical challenges, collaborating with engineering talent, and being part of projects that make a real impact? Design Ready Controls is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Electrical Engineering Technician to join our growing team.
The Electrical Engineering Technician I position is primarily responsible for assisting in tasks such as quoting, documenting, troubleshooting, testing of electrical systems and components, and ensuring safety and quality standards. This role will assist in meeting project deadlines and deliver high-quality engineering solutions that enhance the company's overall mission.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the documentation of electrical systems and components.
  • Provide quotes and documents to customers upon request.
  • Perform testing and validation of electrical prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Document test results, project updates, and technical specifications accurately and thoroughly.
  • Support engineering teams in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical support for the production floor and customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians in the execution of project tasks and timelines.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and outcomes.

Education | Experience
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical circuit design and basic principles of electronics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical systems.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software.

This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account, including, but not limited to, candidate qualifications, education, geographic locations, market conditions and internal equity.
Pay Range: $27 - $33 per hour
