Position Type: Full-time, Regular

Reports To: Pharmacy Manager


Role Summary: The Driver will play an essential role in delivering nuclear pharmacy products and services to and from the company's clients consisting of hospitals, physician's offices, community medical centers and other hospital and medical facilities.


Job Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Ensures the timely delivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards. Follow map/directions to locate delivery locations efficiently.

2. Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service.

3. Acts as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints. Informs management of complaints or requests in a timely manner.

4. Accepts returns from clients where applicable. Breaks down delivery cases, disposes of radioactive materials and sanitizes lead pigs.

5. Completes appropriate paperwork for deliveries and returns.

6. Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles and facility. Assists with the stocking of products and supplies throughout Facility as well as tracking inventory. Notifies Pharmacy Manager when products or supplies are low, need to be re-ordered or replaced.

7. Performs routine safety checks on vehicles and pre-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines. Immediately reports all vehicle maintenance issues or malfunctions to Pharmacy Manager.

8. Follows Standard Operating Procedures while safely carrying out the responsibilities of position. Complies with all company safety standards, and all federal, state and local laws. 9. Obtains required DOT training and certification. 10. Performs other related duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager.


Job Requirements │ Skills │ Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent with valid PR driver's license required.

• Must have and maintain clean driving record.

• Must have ability to efficiently plan routes and exhibit proper driving etiquette.

• Must have the ability to drive in all types of weather and road conditions safely.

• Ability to work a variety of schedules including early mornings, days, nights, holidays, weekends, overtime, and on-call as needed.

• Must possess excellent critical-thinking, interpersonal communication and customer service skills. As well as good judgement and self-discipline.

• Prior driving, delivery and/or customer service experience preferred. • Must successfully pass comprehensive background check, reference reviews, and drug screening.

• May be required to pass physical fitness (assessment of strength, endurance, and stamina) to evaluate physical ability to perform regular duties of the job.



Physical and Intellectual

Requirements: Manual dexterity for manipulating small and large items; ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and to handle standing, walking, sitting, and operating a motor vehicle for 4+ hours with limited rest intervals; will be required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push/pull, and balance weight regularly; ability to withstand frequent ground transportation; good eye-hand coordination; good eyesight (with or without correction lenses); normal hearing in both ears (hearing range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz); quick large motor skills reflexes to safely and efficiently maneuver motor vehicle when defensive driving abilities may be required; ability to analyze situations, display good critical thinking skills, set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment effective organizational skills; and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
