Fraud Risk & Control Detection Team is looking for aData Scientist to join a growing team. The team's focusisbuilding innovative models for fraud detection. This role willbe responsible forworking closely with data scientists, data engineers, technicalleadsand product managers to bring game-changing modelsto production.

The Team

Fraud Risk & Control Detection is a growing team of analysts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers building out fraud detection capacities within Fidelity.

The Expertise You Have

• BS/MS in data science, statistics or similar quantitative field, OR 2+ years practical experience on the job

• Hands onexpertisein data extraction, cleaning, and preparation; feature extraction; model training and evaluation

• Proven experience building analytics that deliver useful insights from large datasets

• Proventrack recordof delivering production machine learning tools that solve business problems

The Skills You Bring

• Excellent programming skills in Pythonand Pandas.

• Familiarity with Sagemaker and PyCharm is a plus.

• Excellent experience instandardmachine learningapproaches,statistics,Natural Language Processing (NLP)and deep learning techniques

• Strong communicationskills, youare able towork collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive problem definitions and meet business requirements

• Bonus points for building production ML model containers at scale (Docker,SageMaker, Flask, Aerospike)

• Bonus points for dashboarding capabilities (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $83,000-158,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
