Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will assist with all functions of the warranty department as needed. To include daily service invoicing, online submittal of warranty claims, routing service requests to the appropriate service branch, and other administrative support as necessary.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Review/edit warranty service calls for accuracy & conforming to manufacturer guidelines prior to invoicing.
  2. Submit warranty claims through Manufacturer specific claim portals (data entry) in an accurate & timely manner.
  3. Review incoming department emails, & forward to the appropriate service branch.
  4. Review statements of assigned Warranty accounts to confirm claims are being processed. Resolve/resubmit any claims coming back for more information or rejected.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Compile, copy, sort, file and record as required.
  2. Performs other duties as required.
CONTACTS:
  • Internal - WFR branch employees at all levels on a regular basis; WFR corporate employees at all levels on a daily basis as needed.
  • External - Manufacturers as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • An Associate's Degree, or the equivalent in experience.
  • 2+ years experience in an office setting where attention to detail and organization are required.
  • Warranty and/or Claims Experience required
  • Strong Data Entry experience required
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Proficient in all Microsoft programs including: Outlook, Excel, One Drive, Teams, and Internet Explorer/Chrome.
  • Strong attention to detail, and accuracy in keying data.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Deductive reasoning skills.
