NOW Hiring - Patient Care Coordinator - Front Desk


Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Melrose Park clinic. Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include;

  • Greet patients
  • Effectively communicate patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments.
  • Provides detailed instructions to patients for their visits.
  • Reviews and evaluates patient charts for data entry accuracy.
  • Work as a team to ensure we have an efficient working environment to ensure that calls are made timely to patients and referral sources.
  • Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation/Medical services and medical terminology.
  • Answering phones
  • Patient registration/data entry
  • Scanning/faxing/other clerical duties
  • Collecting copay's and patient balances
  • Patient scheduling-Schedule Management
  • Patient Care assistance as needed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Insurance benefits

Must be available to work Monday through Friday and potentially a few very early evenings.
