Overview

Data Entry of physician and facility information in a fast-paced environment supporting all home health locations. Primary duties include reviewing requests to add or edit physicians and facilities within Homecare Homebase EMR. Must meet standards for production volume, accuracy, and completeness. Requires strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Ability to work well under various time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities
  • Process incoming requests for add new or edit existing physicians and facilities and provide timely response to ensure resolution.
  • Follow established processes to ensure entry of physicians eligible to provide home health services.
  • Research physician requests using CMS, PECOS, and state licensure websites to verify physician eligibility.
  • Responsible for entering a high volume of requests at a fast pace, with 100% accuracy.
  • Ability to review and interpret requests in EMR and Service Now to take appropriate action.
  • Experience with MS Office applications such as Outlook and Teams is preferred.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous date entry experience required. Minimum one year.
  • Computer and MS Office software knowledge.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task using navigating between multiple applications & systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills - including active listening skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Problem-solving skills - Ability to troubleshoot customer issues and address concerns effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Travel up to 25%
