Position Summary

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for fulfilling orders while working both independently and as part of a team. This role requires the ability to complete order fulfillment for both internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner. The Shipping Clerk is expected to successfully complete all required onthejob training and elearning programs. The position requires initiative, a commitment to teamwork, a customerfocused mindset, and a demonstrated ability to identify and implement efficient solutions.

Essential Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Select and pull correct parts from inventory in the appropriate quantities
  • Accurately process and complete parts orders with minimal supervision
  • Safely operate lift trucks in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Respond professionally and effectively to customer needs and requests
  • Mentor and support Shipping Clerk Trainees as assigned
  • Deliver parts and packages to designated areas in a timely manner
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery of merchandise with common carriers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
Education

  • High school diploma or the equivalent

Experience

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience involving shipping related tasks is preferred.
  • Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required.
