ALLIANCE is building a Data and Development Department to leverage Big Data and predictive analytics to strengthen our world-class analytics capabilities and deliver exceptional financial services to our members. The Data Engineer II plays an advanced individual contributor role in supporting these efforts by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data systems and developing software and tools that enable analytics, data science, and business intelligence across the organization.

This role contributes to the exploration, processing, and delivery of large and complex datasets, supporting both batch and real-time data use cases. Leveraging modern data platforms, engineering practices, and software development techniques, the Data Engineer II works closely with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and DevOps to ensure data and analytical tooling are reliable, accessible, and well-structured for advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.

In addition to hands-on technical contributions, the Data Engineer II provides guidance and mentorship to Software Developers, Software Engineer I’s, and Data Engineer I’s by sharing best practices in data engineering and software development, supporting design discussions, and helping elevate engineering standards.
