The estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $100,000 per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors 

EHS Specialist (Safety)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with manufacturing leaders to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace
  • Develop and implement safety management systems, including:
    • Hazard identification
    • Risk assessments
    • Mitigation planning
    • Compliance auditing and reporting
  • Serve as a safety subject matter expert (SME) on:
    • Capital projects
    • Process improvements
    • Cost reduction initiatives
  • Train and educate employees on safety procedures such as:
    • PPE
    • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
    • Ergonomics
    • Hazardous materials handling
  • Lead and support incident investigations, including:
    • Root cause analysis
    • Corrective action planning and execution
  • Manage hazardous and residual waste programs
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety and environmental systems
  • Lead hazard identification and risk assessment processes
  • Plan and execute process safety mitigation projects
  • Ensure all safety documentation and compliance requirements are maintained
  • Execute capital projects safely, meeting cost, schedule, and performance targets
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the plant
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations
  • Serve as an on-call safety contact as needed
