Position Description:
CGI is seeking an experienced and successful public sector business developer in the Boston metro with a strong focus on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This role is instrumental in strengthening CGI's market positioning, accelerating large deal cultivation, enhancing executive relationships, and expanding the visibility and adoption of CGI's services and intellectual property (IP) assets.
The selected CGI Partner must be based in Metro Boston. We are looking for a leader who can leverage relationships within the Massachusetts market and will be fully immersed in the community.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Business Development and Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within new and existing Commonwealth of MA state agencies, leading strategic pursuits and guiding proposal building to create tailored business solutions. Maintain a strong track record of winning opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with C level client executives, aiming to become their trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.
• Solution Design and Execution: Collaborate with solution architects and SMEs to design, propose, and execute solutions for complex client problems, leveraging creativity and experience in advanced business and technology environments.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Business development expertise: At least 10 years of experience in defining, selling, and delivering complex technology and business solutions in a consulting environment, with a strong track record in business development and strategic deal closure with government clients.
• Strong knowledge of solution positioning leveraging technology services and IP assets.
• Experience leading teams to develop strong winning proposals utilizing creative business engineering skills and compelling win themes and stories.
• Proven relationships with key Commonwealth of Massachusetts political, business and technology leaders.
• Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives that drive business growth with minimal guidance.
• Communication and Presence: Strong presence, self-awareness, and communication skills across all organizational levels, including public speaking and thought leadership.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel as needed largely in New England.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $140,300.00 $310,700.00.
